Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver with a valid driver’s license and DoD Secret Clearance for Huntsville, AL. This part-time position involves patrolling, access control, incident response, and daily reporting at an aerospace/defense site.

The role requires 1+ year in security or 1+ year in law enforcement, a high school diploma, and a background check with a drug screen. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may apply beforehand.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, helping to control entry to authorized areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation related to patrols, incidents, and security-related activities.

What You'll Do:
