Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Subject to background investigation as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in line with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: $21.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor and report security-related incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and/or suspicious activity, responding in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and visitor or contractor documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Support access management by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors, and communicating professionally with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
