Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Driver Patrol Coverage in Weslaco, TX. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with options to pick up additional shifts and grow within the company.

Pay rate is $14.00 per hour. Schedule is DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, with anchor shifts and a program to claim extra shifts across multiple sites for higher earnings.

Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Level III armed certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to deter theft and unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and following site procedures.
• Maintain authorization to carry assigned equipment in accordance with laws and Allied Universal policies.
• Document incidents and patrols accurately and relay information to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Driver Patrol Coverage in Weslaco, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Maintain authorization and readiness to carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and law enforcement when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III armed certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
