Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Mobile Field Patrol Driver in Weslaco, TX. The role supports Retail/Malls with regular patrols, access point monitoring, and incident response. You will provide professional customer service while ensuring security and safety in a fast-paced retail environment.

Full-time position with a pay rate of $14.00 per hour. Requires an armed guard card/license, Texas Level III certification, and a valid driver’s license; background checks and drug screening apply.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Field Patrol Driver in Weslaco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires operation of a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail location clients, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, delivery areas, and other designated locations; verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess Level III armed certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
