You will conduct routine patrols, operate a company vehicle in accordance with policy, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution terminal.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of terminal grounds, access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian activity entering and leaving the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, training requirements, and client procedures, and complete accurate activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
