Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and others by carrying out armed security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, patient care areas, and surrounding property.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control, report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, patient care areas, and surrounding property to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, responses, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
