Job summary

Allied Universal in East Point, GA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Patrol Customer Service to monitor financial institution sites, provide professional client service, and deter incidents. You will respond to alarms, perform armed patrols, and maintain a visible security presence while following site procedures and applicable laws.

The position offers flexible scheduling via the Claim a Shift platform, with Fri and Sat night shifts.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least one year of armed security or law enforcement experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Armed guard card/license preferred.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at financial institution locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
