Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Armed Patrol Certification in Atlanta, GA. You will monitor and patrol sites, deter incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role requires relevant experience or a college degree, CPR/First Aid preferred, and a background/drug screen as part of employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking offices, customer areas, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. Pay Rate: $24.16 / Hour

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
