Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeTue01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Wed01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Thur01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors at a government military installation by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorization as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain required reports, logs, and communications with site representatives, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
