Allied Universal in Las Vegas, NV seeks an experienced Security Officer Armed Patrol to safeguard patients, visitors and staff. You will perform routine armed patrols, respond to incidents, and uphold access control within a healthcare facility.

Minimum experience in armed security is required; strong communication and customer service are essential. This full-time role pays $18.00 per hour with day and night shifts and benefits.

• Armed guard card or license required.
• Computer or tablet use comfortable for reporting.
• Private investigator license preferred.
• Proficient with handcuffs, pepper spray and baton preferred.
• Minimum 21 years old for armed roles.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with maintaining controlled access to restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and report security-related concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a private investigator license, armed, preferred.
• Be proficient in the use of handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
