As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Professional supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, reporting unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol activity, incident reports, and shift communications, while following applicable armed post procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
