• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity and communicate to leadership.

As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 06:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Thur 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, donors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, assisting with visitor direction and adherence to site access requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
