Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Fresno, CA for a Part-Time role. You will conduct armed patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents at a technology, media, and telecom location.

The position requires an armed guard card or license, high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Schedule includes DayTime shifts and weekend coverage; pay rate is $25.22 per hour.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report unusual conditions to leadership.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with laws and site procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and deliveries at a technology, media, and/or telecommunications location; report unusual conditions to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and client site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
