Responsibilities

• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report suspicious activity to appropriate personnel
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain documentation for patrols and activities

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Crisis Readiness in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $29.40 / Hour

What You\'ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess at least four years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver\'s license will be required for driving positions only.
