Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate with management and emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the location, including interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and deter unauthorized entry.
• Support security operations involving high-value assets and after-hours activity with professionalism.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the building interior, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with site policies.
• Support security-related operations involving high-value assets, sensitive areas, and/or after-hours activity while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail during all assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
