Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Part Time Security Officer in Boca Raton, FL to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will manage access points, perform routine patrols, and remain visibly present to deter incidents, while delivering professional customer service under a people-first approach.

This role requires 2+ years in law enforcement or a criminal justice background, an armed guard card, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience and/or criminal justice degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an armed guard card is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, check visitor and vendor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate clearly with residents, management, and emergency responders while providing professional assistance and following established reporting procedures.
