Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, roadways, work zones, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, professional problem-solving and coordinate with site personnel and emergency services.
• Prepare accurate reports and daily logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

• Wed: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, roadways, work zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and report unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site personnel and public emergency services as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and daily activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken, while maintaining readiness and proper handling of assigned equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
