Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed in Minneapolis, MN. The role focuses on patrolling, access control, and incidents response to safeguard clients across various industries, including utilities.

The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to advance through our Shift-claiming platform. Minimum requirements include 2 years in law enforcement or related fields, an armed guard card, and a high school diploma.

Competenze

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by employment terms.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $25.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
