Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Windsor, NC to protect government facilities and staff. You will perform armed patrols, monitor access points, and deliver professional customer service while following site procedures.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, 6+ months of armed security experience, and a high school diploma. A state armed guard card is preferred; background checks and drug screening are required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and other authorized individuals while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking areas, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and report unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required records related to patrols, incidents, access-control activities, and other assigned duties.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
