As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Response Driver in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while supporting a professional environment. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government corrections environment.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and control access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, observations, and/or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
