Allied Universal in Leesburg, FL, is seeking a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver to protect campus facilities and respond to incidents. You will perform armed patrols, monitor access points, and provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors while enforcing campus policies and safety procedures.

This role requires at least 2 years of security experience, an Armed Guard Card, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen will be performed.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations calmly, following established reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with access control procedures, visitor direction, and campus policies.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with access control procedures, visitor direction, and communication of campus rules and policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
