Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Auburndale, FL to protect clients across government locations. You’ll maintain visible security presence, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service as part of a flexible, part-time team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to government location personnel and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report access concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
