Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Incident Reporting in Austin, TX. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents following established procedures.

Minimum requirements include 3+ years in security or law enforcement, Texas Level III Armed Certification, and a valid armed guard card. A background check and drug screen are required; hours include weekend shifts with a $30 per hour rate.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, armed security-related professional, or certified law enforcement graduate.
• Valid armed guard card or license.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas and perimeter to identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site requirements to maintain an orderly environment.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations and concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, entry points, common spaces, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess three or more years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, armed security-related professional, or certified law enforcement graduate.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
