Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Compliance Reporting in Austin, TX to monitor and safeguard clients across industries, including tech and telecom. You will patrol, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security concerns with professionalism while upholding the company's people-first culture.

This full-time role pays $30 per hour and requires an Armed Guard Card, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and Texas Level III certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Military Police, Corrections Officer, Armed Security, or as a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.
• Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Must be at least 21 years old; 21+ for armed roles.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, entry points, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.

As a Security Officer Armed Compliance Reporting in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, Armed Security Professional, or be a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
