Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Armed Roving Patrol (Full Time) in Richmond, VA. The role requires protecting government locations, patrolling assigned areas, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents. You will deliver professional customer service while upholding company standards and safety policies.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour with a rotating schedule. Minimum qualifications include an Armed Guard Card, being at least 21, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry and exit per site procedures.
• Prepare accurate patrol and incident reports and maintain security records.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public authorities as required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry and exit in accordance with site procedures, maintaining awareness of visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required records related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
