As an Armed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following applicable armed post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity to help deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and property representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
