What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with residential community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
