Allied Universal is seeking an armed security professional to protect a utility location in Florida. You will provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while executing site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.

Responsibilities include responding calmly to incidents, patrolling perimeters, verifying access credentials, and reporting any security concerns. A valid Armed Guard Card, driver’s license, and a high school diploma are required.

Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Tue: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Wed: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Thur: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted utility areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, client requirements, site policies, and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
