As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Enhanced Part Time Response in Leesburg, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri10:00 AM - 08:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, access‑control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Operate assigned screening equipment and conduct screening procedures in accordance with applicable laws, post orders, and government facility requirements.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and report prohibited items or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following armed post procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas, building interiors, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
