Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Woodbridge, VA. This part-time role offers a weekend shift with a pay rate of $21.63 per hour.

You’ll provide security, perform armed patrols, verify credentials, and respond to incidents within government utility sites. The position requires an armed guard license, a valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors while following site security procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and contractor entry per site procedures.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs with accuracy.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government utility locations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor entry in accordance with site procedures.
• Carry authorized equipment in compliance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and post orders; complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
