Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Driver Security Officer in El Dorado, AR to safeguard client sites, control access, and respond to incidents. The role is full-time with weekly pay and requires a valid armed guard card, 21+ age, and a valid driver’s license.

Shift schedule includes night and weekend hours with a $22.00/hour pay rate. Responsibilities include monitoring access, conducting patrols, logging events, and providing professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service while enforcing site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials and recording entries.
• Respond to alarms/incidents per site procedures and communicate with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and restricted areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete required reports and logs related to visitor activity and events.

Job Description

Security Officer Armed Driver in El Dorado, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access systems, conduct routine patrols, and provide professional customer service. This is an armed driving post. You will help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and timely reporting while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture with teamwork and integrity.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
