Allied Universal in El Dorado, AR is seeking a Security Officer Armed Driver to protect facilities and people at a chemical/petrochemical location. This part-time role combines driving duties with frontline security tasks, requiring strong observation, communication, and a safe driving record.

Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Armed roles require state licensing where applicable.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, issuing access badges or passes as authorized, and reporting access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and designated operational zones to help identify unauthorized activity, hazardous conditions, or security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and observations in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
