Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services company, seeks an Armed Security Officer for Antioch, TN. You will patrol facilities, deter incidents, monitor access, and respond professionally while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions and incidents per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and follow post orders and protocols.
• Prepare required reports and communicate with site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Antioch, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and respond to situations with professionalism and sound judgment. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, utility location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, access points, buildings, equipment areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, access concerns, incidents, and maintenance-related observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable armed post orders and emergency protocols.
• Maintain required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding public agencies as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or batons is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
