Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver in Ridley Park, PA. This role offers fixed shifts with an option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings, and pays $29.23 per hour.

The schedule currently runs DayTime Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, with potential for up to 40 hours per week when needed. You will provide customer service, perform security procedures, respond to incidents, and conduct regular armed patrols while maintaining logs and compliance

Qualifications

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver in Ridley Park, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $29.23 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, escalating access concerns as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation while working in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
