Details Department: Security Schedule: Full Time/Day shift position, 7:00 am till 3:00 pm, will work weekends with two connecting days off during the week. Perform proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats. Investigate, document and manage security incidents and hazards. Maintain knowledge/follow policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans. May facilitate planned drills and simulations. Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote safety. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: Drivers License credentialed from the Michigan Bureau of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Michigan Concealed Pistol License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Law Enforcement preferred. Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc. preferred. Security Professional preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
