SITE: Financial Institution

LOCATION: Slidell, LA 70461

SHIFT: Full-time / Day shift

SHIFT TIME: 8:00am - 5:30pm

PAY: $18.00 / hour / Pays weekly

Note: If you are currently armed through LSBPSE, you will receive first consideration.

Qualifications

• 21 or older (required for all armed posts)
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods
• 2 years of experience being armed via LSBPSE or comfort becoming armed
• Current armed license will have first consideration
• 2 years of security experience needed

First interview will be a phone interview.

As an Armed Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments may vary by site

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Subject to background check and drug screening as per law
• Participate in security/safety training programs
• State/local licensing requirements may apply
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions
