First Coast Security in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking an Armed Security Officer to monitor entrances, patrol sites, and respond to safety concerns on site. This on-site role requires a valid Armed Security License or prior military or law enforcement background, plus First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

You will be responsible for guarding entrances, maintaining weapon readiness, reporting hazards, and delivering customer service to staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Armed Security License or have prior Military, Law Enforcement, or Corrections experience.
• Must obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening, driving record check, and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be over 21 years old.
• Proficient English language communication, reading, and writing skills.
• Able to meet all physical demands, including lifting up to 40 lbs., and long periods of standing.

As an Armed Security Officer, you will monitor entrances, complete patrols, assist visitors, and respond to any safety concerns on site. You’ll help maintain a secure environment by staying alert, following post orders, and documenting important activity throughout your shift.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to obtain Armed Security License as required by state with 2 years Armed Security experience OR have prior Military, Law Enforcement, or Corrections experience
• Must be able to obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• Must be able to pass a drug screening, driving record check, and background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be over 21 years old
• Proficient English language communication, reading, and writingskills
• Able to meet all physical demands, including occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs.), and performing tasks such as bending, climbing, running, walking, and standing for long periods of time as needed
