Schedule: MON & WED-SUN 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Location: Hospital Chilton

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.
2. Perform proactive monitoring and respond promptly to security threats.
3. Investigate, document, and manage security incidents and hazards.
4. Follow policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster plans, including facilitating drills and simulations.
5. Assist staff and visitors to promote safety.
6. Operate safely to avoid accidents and traffic or parking violations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• In-state (Alabama) concealed carry weapons permit.
• Drivers License from the Alabama Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Security Professional certification preferred.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalency, or 1 year of relevant experience.
