Job summary

Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper, UT is hiring a full-time Security Officer to protect guests and staff, monitor CCTV, and respond to emergencies. You will perform inspections, report incidents, and assist with crowd management during busy periods.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 3 months, and demonstrate strong communication skills. This role requires flexibility including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment screenings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical emergencies with First Aid/CPR as trained.
• Answer guest questions and provide aquarium information.
• Provide crowd management and safety during events.
• Mitigate safety hazards and follow up on issues.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports.
