Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Airline Terminal Patrol to safeguard a dynamic airport environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain visibility to deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service to travelers and staff.

This full-time role requires a NYS Security Guard license and a high school diploma, with background and drug screenings as required by law. You will work daytime shifts at an airport location, supporting a welcoming environment and coordinating

Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check per federal, state, and local laws.

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Airline Terminal Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of airport facilities, terminal areas, employee access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly according to site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
