Job summary

Allied Universal® in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Security Officer - Afternoons Full-Time to provide a welcoming, secure front desk presence at a technology-focused office. You will manage visitor access, respond to incidents, and support safety procedures while delivering excellent customer service to employees and guests.

Responsibilities include verifying IDs, maintaining logs, monitoring cameras and alarms, and coordinating with emergency responders.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Monitor access points, reception-area activity, alarms, cameras, and communication systems, escalating unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records, complete required reports, and provide clear information and directions to support a professional and welcoming front-desk environment.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
