Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, vehicle-yard concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of parking areas, vehicle storage areas, loading zones, facility grounds, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, drivers, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations, and report concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
