Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Afternoon Patrol in Litchfield Park, AZ. You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and support access control at a logistics and distribution site while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time, afternoon shift requires a valid driver’s license and compliance with our driver policy. Training and advancement opportunities are available as part of a broader security career path.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including loading docks, warehouse areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter.
• Monitor pedestrian and vehicle activity, verify authorized access as directed, and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Afternoon Patrolin Litchfield Park, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with integrity, teamwork, agility, reliability, and innovation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
