Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, issue badges or passes as directed, and control entry/exit per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and report security concerns to appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access-control systems; report unusual activity and equipment concerns.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter while observing site requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Archbold, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, issue badges or passes as directed, and help control entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly documenting and reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access-control systems as assigned; report unusual activity, equipment concerns, and unauthorized access attempts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter, while observing food production access requirements and site conditions.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
