Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Enhanced at our Bethpage, NY site. This role offers flexible hours, reliable shifts, and a path to full-time opportunities within the industry leader in security and facility services.

As a Security Officer Aerospace Warehouse Control Access, you will perform access control, patrols, and incident response to protect employees, visitors, and property while delivering professional customer service and adherence to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted per laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors and exterior areas.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, procedural manner.
• Deter theft and other prohibited activity through a visible security presence and timely reporting.

As a Security Officer Aerospace Warehouse Control Access in Bethpage, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 05:30 AM - 09:30 AM
• Sun 05:00 PM - 01:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facility interior and exterior areas, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Help to deter theft, trespassing, property damage, and other prohibited activity through a visible presence and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
