Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Verification in Ontario, CA to protect client sites across Retail/Malls and more. You will manage access points, verify credentials, and maintain a welcoming, secure environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

This full-time driving position requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma, and successful background checks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members while applying access-control procedures.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points, verify credentials, document arrivals/departures, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles as appropriate.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarm activations, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving approach, notifying site contacts or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, key or badge issuance records, and incident reports per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Verification in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution center, you will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points for a retail distribution location, verifying credentials, documenting arrivals and departures, and directing authorized personnel and vehicles as appropriate.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarm activations, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, key or badge issuance records, and incident reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
