Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide professional customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring visitor and vendor entry, and maintaining accurate access-related records.
• Monitor entry and exit points, gates, and loading areas to help deter unauthorized access and support the orderly movement of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
