Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Screening in Littleton, CO to safeguard clients across technology locations. You will perform access control, monitor areas, and deliver courteous service while maintaining security procedures.

As a Full Time role, you will work day and night shifts per schedule, participate in routine patrols, and document incidents and reports to support site leadership. CPR/First Aid and HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and security procedures is preferred.
• Ability to perform routine patrols and document observations accurately.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by policy.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a telecommunications and technology location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, equipment areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and maintaining logs; follow entry/exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls; notify site contacts and responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate observations to leadership and site personnel.

As a Security Officer Access Screening in Littleton, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, document and report security-related concerns, and provide courteous customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a telecommunications and technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, equipment areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and following established entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
