Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.30 / Hour

• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thu: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, authorizing entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, delivery areas and access points; report unauthorized activity, discrepancies, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
