Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/driver/contractor authorization, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Assist with managing vehicle and pedestrian access to shipping, receiving, dock, and yard areas; report unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking, and loading areas.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver Full Time in Antioch, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven team.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor, driver, and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with managing vehicle and pedestrian access to shipping, receiving, dock, and yard areas while reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
